To krump, or not to krump.
Yes that’s right. Dizzee Rascal was blaring through the speakers, and I was asked to krump on command.
Today was another full day of working on The Good Design Book. I was part photographer, part model. Thus the krumping.
Krumping was awesome, but that was about 10 minutes of my day. I’m usually pretty busy around here, because there is always something to do. At the moment, we’re trying to wrap up The Good Design Book. It’s getting close, but the list of things to do and gather is still pretty long. And it seems that when I’ve finished one task, Christopher and Tim remember another one to add. Editing seems to be the hardest part, but Christopher wants to post the work that didn’t make it to the book on the blog. The book and blog will be a Good Design Book combo pack, so to speak.
My part of it all is trying to get the last submissions, permissions, and images together. It’s been a great process because I get to practice my lighting skills and also experience how the composition of photos affects the pacing of the book. So today, I took more photos and got to email another graphic design luminary, Mr. James Victore. To quote Jennifer from a previous blog comment, it was another “white-knuckled email.”
