The Washington Post is reporting on a controversy (another one?!) surrounding the New Year’s unveiling of the Rio 2016 Olympic logo. To many, the mark bears too close a resemblance to that of the Telluride Foundation, a nonproft charity chaired by Norman Schwarzkopf.
I’m going to go with coincidence on this one. Yes, the themes and even the execution is similar, but don’t they both owe more than a small debt to Matisse?
