Copyright Basics

If you’ve ever wanted to understand the basics of copyright law and you have 18 minutes to spare, this is the video for you. It’s a little dry (ok very dry)but the guy is a Harvard Law professor and makes the complex and often misunderstood subject quite accessible. Professional Practice students, this is required viewing. Professor Fisher also offers an array of resources on his website.

What an amazing series. I love section 2 as well when he talks about the theoretical underpinnings of copyright law and how the writings of Locke, Kant, Haegel, Waldron and others play into our current laws and understandings.
